Parking
Parking
lots have been built for the convenience of students.
The LISD School Board set a fee of $45.00 per year
for a parking space, and any car in an unassigned
parking lot or the visitor parking will be towed away
at owner's expense.
All
vehicles are required to have a permit.
- Students
are not to park on the LHS campus except in assigned
student lots.
- Students
should not park in the visitor spaces or the teachers'
parking lots.
- Students
are not to park on any of the private parking lots
around the school.
- On-street
parking is subject to city rules and regulations
and may also be under the jurisdiction of the school
if parked within 300 feet of the school.
-
Half-
hour parking is available on the east and west
sides and one hour parking on the south
side of the building.
Students have full responsibility for the security
of their vehicles and must make certain that cars
are locked.
- Students
will be held responsible for any prohibited objects
or substances, such as alcohol, drugs, and weapons,
that are found in their cars according to state
law and school district policies.
- Students
who rent parking from the school district must abide
by all rules and regulations on the parking lot
information sheet provided by the Mr. Woody.
- Students
should move their cars up into a lighted parking
lot when they will be at school in the evenings
for activities. Also, students should not enter
and leave the parking lots alone at night
