Open
Periods and Open Lunch
Being
able to leave school for lunch is a privilege for
Lubbock High School students. Open lunch privileges
may be withdrawn for students due to excessive absences,
tardies, littering, careless or reckless driving,
etc. Students who choose to remain on campus during
lunch are not to remove food and other purchased items
from the cafeteria. The school reserves the right
to restrict students to campus at any time.
Open
periods are a privilege for seniors who have excellent
attendance and academic records.
Open
periods may be withdrawn at any time during the school
year for excessive absences, truancies, excessive tardies, poor grades, etc.
