Leaving School During the Day

To leave campus, a student must check out through the office. For illness or emergency, the student's parent or guardian will be contacted and permission granted by the parent before the student is allowed to leave.

No student may leave the campus without checking out through the office.

A written request from the student's parent to the school is required in order to leave school for a medical or other appointment. In all cases, the parent or guardian must give permission for a student to leave school. Additionally, students who do not return to school following lunch must have a parent or guardian contact the school in order for the absence to be verified. Students who leave school without permission or who do not return to school for class are subject to immediate in-school suspension, detention, or other discipline action. Any student who needs to leave before the school day has ended is required to check out through the office.
